The NATURA 2000 Oroklini Lake is a natural marshy lake, which has also been classified under the Habitats Directive as a SCI due to its halophytic marsh vegetation. The lake is one of the top sites across Cyprus for breeding Black-winged Stilts and Spur-winged Lapwings. Oroklini Lake also draws waders, gulls and ducks.
